The Day of Student Initiatives (TdI) was the fair at TUM where student initiatives presented themselves, recruited new members, and networked with each other. From 2014 to 2021, the TdI was yearly organized by TUM: Junge Akademie.

The TdI originated from the student research project wachsTUM of the TUMJA class 2013. In 2014, the project team initiated both the campus run and the "TU was!" fair, from which the TdI in Garching subsequently emerged. In addition, the student council of the TUM School of Management offered the TdI at the main campus.

First online format in 2021

In 2021, the fair could be visited from the comfort of your own couch – because on January 18, 2021, the TdI took place completely online! In exciting and interactive online sessions, around 43 initiatives presented their innovative projects to committed Munich students.

M!A as a new online offer (2021-2022)

In April 2021, the TdI was continued online as "M!A - Münchner Initiativen Abend" – in cooperation with the student council of the TUM School of Management and the VMSI (Verband Münchner Studierendeninitiativen). The successful online format was also offered on October 20, 2021 and April 28, 2022, most recently together with the VMSI and 180 Degrees Consulting Munich.
