The Akaflieg offers the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge from the lectures in practice. Similarly, members learn important skills for their studies via design calculations and working on the glider. The glider pilot's license can be obtained at a low cost.
We are a student club and deal with the design, construction, and operation of high-performance remote-controlled aircraft. We have done it all, from 3g light aircraft to world record models with more than 500km/h. Gain experience, exchange ideas with other students, and be part of exciting projects.
