Knowledge Upcycling Nature Sustainability Technology
Our team is launching an investigation into supermarket packaging strategies, exploring the environmental trade-offs of emerging alternatives like biodegradable plastics or seaweed-based materials. Through a life cycle analysis (LCA), we will compare these alternatives to traditional paper and plastic packaging while also surveying consumer perceptions. Our goal is to uncover the true sustainability of these materials and their potential impact on supermarket packaging choices.
