communicaTUM
In a world flooded with information from media and social platforms, people often feel overwhelmed and desensitized. Our interdisciplinary group, communicaTUM, aims to improve public engagement and understanding by studying different communication methods. By June 2025, we want to develop a communication strategy that reaches various socioeconomic groups. We'll test different tones, like humorous, inspirational, contemptuous, and dramatic, to see how people react to important issues. Using short videos and surveys, we'll look at how to make topics like global food insecurity and solutions like GMO-technology more accessible and thought-provoking, ultimately boosting scientific literacy.
Join us on our journey as we bridge academia and society, contributing to a more informed and engaged future!
