Be a partner of TUM Science Hackathon!
TUM Science Hackathon
The TUM Science Hackathon is an exciting opportunity for students to collaborate on solving real-world challenges provided by industry leaders. Interdisciplinary teams work together to create innovative solutions, with attractive prizes awarded to the top projects.
This year’s call, “Going New Ways”, invites challenges that encourage innovative thinking and explore uncharted territories in various fields. We are looking for projects that might touch on sustainability, digital transformation, social innovation, and advancements in mobility and health. We encourage participants to think outside the box and propose solutions that break conventional boundaries, aiming for impactful change and new possibilities. Join us in this exciting journey and be part of the TUM Science Hackathon 2025!
Why should your company participate in the TUM Science Hackathon?
The TUM Science Hackathon previously hosted more than 120 students from different fields of study and was supported by six partner companies and four chair of TUM. It was an incredible opportunity for students and companies to interact in finding unique solutions to important problems.
For the upcoming TUM Science Hackathon 2025 we plan to build on the success of the last Hackathons and increase both the diversity and the number of participants and partner companies.
Companies are invited to submit real-world challenges. Benefits include:
- Collaborating with some of the most talented and dedicated students in Germany
- Gaining fresh perspectives on complex problems
- Identifying potential future employees and customers
- Boost your presence and employer branding at the elite universities TUM and LMU
- Offer students an insider's view of your company
Partnership with TUM: Science Hackathon
As a partner of the TUM Science Hackathon, your organization can propose one or more challenges aligned with this year’s theme, "Going New Ways." Each challenge will be tackled by one or two teams, each comprising around five motivated participants.
To ensure that only the most suitable and enthusiastic participants join your challenge, we provide all applicants with a brief overview of each available task. This allows students to indicate their preferences, helping us match the right teams to your challenge.
How It Works!
- Challenge Proposal
As a partner, you can submit a specific challenge for participants to solve during the Hackathon. This is a unique opportunity to explore innovative solutions while engaging with creative minds. - Participation in the Orientation Event
At the Orientation Event, you’ll introduce your organization and challenge, connect with the students, and begin building relationships with potential future collaborators. - Attendance and Support Over the Weekend
During the Hackathon, your team should be available to guide students through the challenge, answer questions, and connect with participants. This engagement not only supports your challenge but also serves as a valuable recruiting opportunity to identify and connect with top talent.
